sous-chef

My trusty assistant helped me make cake pops recently for a baby shower.

The cups and drizzles of various colored chocolate were about more than Paisley could handle.

After making these darn things a few times I have couple suggestions....they are 10 times easier to make the cake pop be the base instead of the top like a lollipop, and you have to freeze them in between each step for at least 20 minutes and only take out 3-6 at a time to dip in the chocolate so they don't get too gummy and soft to dip.

We also our Cricut to make my new niece a banner for her room and to decorate her gift basket. Thanks mom for the cute new cartridges and punch! They were put to good use already :)

Is it natural that I hope Paisley loves to craft and cook. I have mentally planned some really fun girl weekends for us when she gets older to craft ourselves right into the twilight zone. She'll probably hate crafting and be a runner or something ridiculous (I've talked to some runners lately and you people are all crazy. Anything more than 5 miles is just nuts) and expect me to do marathons with her. Good thing she has a dad.
