Superman Party

We had a Superman Party for the the SuperMen in our lives the day before Father's Day. My friend Savanna kindly offered their house which is much better for entertaining than ours and she also made this incredible Superman cake! There were 7 couples including friends from church and Dusty's sisters and their families.

Kristy did a pin the "S" on Superman game. You can see how "close" Paisley was the first time

which resulted in sulking.

She got a redo and felt much better about it.

MariJo was pretty happy sleeping in the sun while the adults played games and the kids splashed around the pool

The men and women had a race to see who could tie a tie the fastest.

and then each family went down a line up blind folded trying to pick out their Superman.

It was all fun and games until Paisley picked the wrong dad...and

fell apart. We established her poor sportsmanship early on in the day. She is such a perfectionist. Typical oldest kid. They're all so messed up ;) She got another re-do!

Don't tell her Dusty was the only dad in the line up this time.

AnnaLee was a champ and enjoyed her toes better than all the delicious food we had. Each person brought two of their husbands favorite things to eat. We shared potluck style and Dusty requested the famous Magnolia Bakery's banana pudding and taco wonton cups.

Each dad went home with a Super Kit to thank them for their awesomeness

We were forunate enough to go on a date Sat. night (Thanks Laurie and Kandi for babysitting!) We got a couples massage, went to the driving range, picked up the kids and watched a movie at home.

We sure love the dad at our house and hope he knows how much we appreciate him too!
