I haven't posted our fun from September so here it goes. My family came to visit! We had everyone here except Mindy and Mark and they were missed. We spent a weekend in Pigeon Forge, TN in the Smoky Mountains. We started our trip at the Dixie Stampede. I had heard mixed reviews of the place but we LOVED it. It is a Dolly Pardon sponsored event that includes a live show, horses, stunt people, comedy and a country dinner. We really liked the food and the show was entertaining too. Paisley enjoyed the horses and the southern belle gowns that had lights in them. The highlight of the evening however was when Jake was pulled from the audience to go play "horse shoes" which may or may not have involved ringing toilet seats around a pole. Let's just say Jake was victorious and has the gold medal to prove it.

hee hee... toilet seat horse shoes! That's what the played during the 7th inning stretch when Jeff played ball for the twins...it must be a TN thing...he was in Elizabethton! Love it! cute family pics!
And, yes Duaty was with us, our lovely "helper" who took the picture, just happened to crop him out. Jake made us all proud and when he gave Celine his gold medal, she almost cried, what have we come to?
