Poor Whit
His presence on the blog has been non-existent not because I have no pictures of him but because our computer is still being fixed and I can't download photos on this computer from a memory card. I'll put up new pictures as soon as the darn machine gets fixed. He had a check up yesterday. At 9 weeks he is 12.7 lbs and 22 1/2 inches long. That puts him in about the 60th percentile for weight and the 25th for height...ugh...poor boy...short and a little rotund ;) He started smiling and coo-ing at 6 weeks and his little smiles melt my heart. You have to catch him after his first bottle in the morning and he will smile and smile for ages. He eats 4 oz. every feeding now and his crazy hair became crazy RED hair at about 2 weeks old. We would always threaten my mom as kids that if she passed her red hair on to our kids....LOL...and she sure did...Everyone who meets him says..." oh look at all that hair! Is it red? No, Yes! It is red!" He is a great little red haired baby but cries when he is hungry and sometimes just to be held. His cry is more like a screech, like a dramatic baby puppy dog screech. He never had that sweet newborn cry, just a very high pitched you better help me right NOW kind of cry. Love him!

He's adorable! I'm so happy someone got your mom's gorgeous red hair!
Red headed boys are the BEST :)
I agree. RED HEADED BOYS! Shara's non-red headed boy never had that sweet little baby cry...from the first he sounded like a baby dinosaur. I think he might have one of those cute little croaky voices?!
But he is one cuddly kid!
