So..Dusty finally relented and had back surgery on the 31st of December. Talk about cutting it close with insurance huh? He had a diskectomy which means they made a small one inch incision and dug deep to shave off part of his disk that has been pushing into his spinal cord and causing him a lot of pain. Bottom line...I think it worked. He doesn't feel the pain like before and is well on his way to recovery. I'm proud of you honey for going through with it and hope this will help you to feel better! Yahoo, thankfully Dusty, this is behind you - literally! We are so happy that you are feeling well enough to go back to work today and hope that with each passing day you are feeling more and more pain free. We love you so much, you are a wonderful son, husband and father. What a great year 2009will be for your family.
