We letter boxed in Bell Buckle, TN this time. The clues were fun and we loved the hand carved stamp in this box. It was an RC Cola and Moon Pie stamp and it said "It's a Southern Thing"!
It's almost October here and looked gray out to start so I dressed the kids in warm clothes and it ended up being almost 80. Oops :)
The box was at the Bell Buckle park which had a great playground and
this sweet little statue of "superboy" and his lobster sidekick. The statue was erected in honor of a little boy from Bell Buckle who had drowned. I love the Letter Boxes that tell you the history of a place or have a sentimental value to them and this one was so precious.
We finished our day with dinner at the famous Bell Buckle Cafe with roasted chicken and dressing and all the southern fixins...delicious!
