April Fool's Day

Dusty needed to be pranked this year. He really desperately needed it. I saw an idea on Pinterest to put a fake parking ticket in the mail and ran with it. It is completely customized for Nashville, TN and for Dusty. I knew he would never have been in Nashville to get a ticket for "parking in  a handicap space" but I go regularly so I assumed he would think it was me but that it came in his name since the car is registered to us both and it worked like a charm.

The ticket was for only 30 something dollars but the delinquent fees were in the 300's.

I even included a correspondence envelope for him to mail in his check

I watched him go get the mail, pause, open it, ponder, and look at me like...what have you done wife? I played along for a bit trying to stretch out the torture. He was calm, cool as cucumber but I could tell he was irked especially after I told him there were no parking spots downtown so just parked in handicap for like 10 minutes...:)! He was afraid that it might be a scam so he called the number on the ticket (even though it was a Saturday just to confirm that it was a legit number) and got my sweet friend Melanie who announced the April Fools. So fun! I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did Dusty. At least your hygiene stuff wasn't in a jello bowl this year ;)
