1st time with the dough

Yesterday we staved off the bedrest crazies with play dough and Valentine decorations. My mom always made those "smaller" holidays special for the whole family...even Valentine's day. I remember Valentine mailboxes filled with goodies, a festive table, and a delicious meal. I appreciate now that those things don't just happen. My mom made a conscious effort to make it fun and special and I sure wish she would move to TN so I could be the benefactor and not the organizer of such fun.
